<div itemprop="description">In Memory of<br>Janet Bates Bears<br>1923-2016<br> <br>Janet Bates Bears, loving wife of the late Willard Samuel Bears, passed away peacefully in her 94th year at Trillium Ridge Care Centre in Kingston, ON, on October 27, 2016.<br>Born in Campbellton, NB on April 1 1923, Janet was the daughter of Walter and Marguerite Sunderland and sister to 5 siblings. She is survived by her sisters Phyllis Boyle and Eileen Belyea of Saint John, NB, and was predeceased by Lewis Sunderland of London, ON , Dorothy Birch of BC, and Marjorie Robinson of Saint John, NB.<br>Janet will always be remembered for her vivacious, positive outlook on life, her generosity and kindness to everyone, and her unconditional love and dedicated support for her family. She loved classical music, was an avid reader, and played prize winning games of shuffleboard with Willard during their Florida winters.<br>Janet will be deeply missed by her children – Katherine<br>(Robert), James(Claire), Ralph(Darien), David(Mary), Elaine(George), and Bill(Carol) , her 14 cherished grandchildren - Mitchell, Zachary, Breanne, Tatiana, Sasha, Justin, Christopher, William, Kimberley, Peter, Neil, Rachel, Heather, and Michael, and her 9 great grandchildren. Janet and Willard were predeceased by their son, Walter. <br> <br>Memorial service will be held at Robert J. Reid & Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street) on Saturday, November 12 at 1p.m.<br>The family would appreciate that memorial donations be contributed to the charity of your choice. <br></div>
