SCOTT, Esther Victoria - Passed away peacefully at her new home of Arbour Heights at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Scott of Kingston. Loving mother to recently deceased daughter Beverley Scott and Brenda Sullivan (Randy) of Calgary, loving Grandmother to Sabrina Sullivan (Brad Robertson) of Calgary and Jacqui Sullivan of Victoria. A special great grandmother to Adeline Robertson. Fondly remembered by family and so many dear friends and special caregivers. Born in Chauvin AB, she graduated from Business College and worked as a secretary at Marshall Wells in Edmonton. It was there during the war that she met her life mate Gerald at a Red Cross dance for military personnel. Their courtship led to marriage and a move cross-country to Ontario. There, not only did Esther raise her own family, but also studied music at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto and taught private piano lessons to the next generation of great musicians. Retirement meant a move from Belleville to Kingston, where church, sewing, Bridge and helping others became her new life. In declining health, she was fortunate to receive the same kindness she had given to others throughout her life. A special thank you is given to Wanda and Aggie, Lenora, Lesley and Christine. Thank you also goes to Dr. Kain, and the staff of Arbour Heights. At Esther's request, no formal service will be conducted. A private family interment will take place in Belleville at a later date. In lieu of donations, a kind deed for another as a "pay it forward" gesture would be appreciated.
