It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane at St. Mary’s of the Lake in Kingston on Monday, June 13th, 2016 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by Wayne, her cherished husband and best friend. The oldest daughter of Clifford and Elizabeth Varcoe, and much loved sister of Norma Mulder, Carol D’Agnolo (Tony) and Lynne Varcoe. Dearest mother of Beth Dobson (Gary), Janice Kirk and David Kirk (Jennifer). Devoted Nana of Michael, Claire, Andrew, Diane Banaschewski (Kevin), Martha, Jemmett, Maryn and Maggie. Also fondly remembered by niece Jane Eyford (David) and nephews Paul D’Agnolo (Jennifer) and Steven and Graham Overland.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at ROBERT J. REID & SONS – The Chapel on the Corner, 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie St.), on Wednesday, June 22nd from 2 p.m. until the Memorial Service in the chapel at 3 p.m. The family will host friends at a catered reception immediately following. Private family interment will take place in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Diane to UHKF – St. Mary’s of the Lake Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
