Conley, Margaret Bernadette (née Lawless)
Died peacefully on Sunday, June 12th, 2016, in Renfrew, at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. She was 84, born on November 28, 1931 in Kingston. Margaret was the daughter of James Lawless and Mary Elizabeth Pearson, both of Kingston. She married Frederick Francis Conley of Wolfe Island, and they made a home in Kingston.
Margaret had a passion for music and for many years, shared her love of music by teaching piano lessons to young students. Margaret enjoyed the last seven years of her life in Calabogie, Ontario.
Margaret, the youngest of eight children, was predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her six children, Paul Conley (Sylvia) of Kingston, Lynn Moore (Gerry) of Wolfe Island, Nancy Clark (Peter) of Foresters Falls, Jim Conley (Rachel) of Ottawa, Mark Conley (Jill Varty) of Ottawa, and Tricia Stafford (Kevin) of Calabogie. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at ROBERT J. REID & SONS - The Chapel on the Corner, 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie St.) on Thursday, June 16th from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 490 Days Rd., at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Margaret will be buried on Friday, June 17th at 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Wolfe Island.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Church, Calabogie, at a date to be announced.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
