Valerie Northgrave
December 18, 1942 - November 8, 2012
NORTHGRAVE, Valerie (nee Dawson).
Passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 8th, 2012. Loving mother of Ben, Stacey (Tom), and Beth. She will be incredibly missed by her grandchildren Ashley, Beatrice, Todd, Julia and Ben; along with her "adopted" grandchildren. Val is survived by her sister Pauline (Claude) Campeau. She will be fondly remembered by her niece Kim and nephews Michael, Robin, and Stephen; as well as her extended family and friends.
Val loved jazz, a glass of wine and above all, her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness, hard work and strong opinions. Her spirituality and creativity lived in all her handmade cards.
Visitation in Memory at the Robert J. Reid and Sons Funeral Home "The Chapel on the Corner" - 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie St.) on Saturday, November 10th from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
"What lies behind us, and what lies before us is nothing compared to what lives within us." - Emerson. In memory of Val, donations to Hospice Kingston would be appreciated by her family.
