<div itemprop="description">Picherack, Michael<br />Former owner of the Brock Bowling Lanes (43 years) and Captain in the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps.<br /><br />Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 20th, 2016 in his 98th year. Michael Picherack of Kingston, predeceased by his wife Genevieve Picherack (n&eacute;e Kane). Beloved companion of Mary Jane Southcott. Dear father of Paul Picherack (Trish) of Naramata B.C., Janet Cornwall (Rick) of Wolfe Island,ON, and Louise Dwyre (Michael) of Kingston, ON. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Claire, Tom, Joe, Michael, Stephen, Sean, Kelly and Patrick, as well as by his nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Rudolph and his sister Josephine. <br /><br />Michael enjoyed bridge, golfing and spending summer days on the St. Lawrence River at the cottage on Howe Island.<br /><br />Special thanks to Dr. Farnell, the palliative care physicians, nurses and his many care givers.<br /><br />Cremation has taken place. Graveside Committal will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston on Saturday April 9th, 2016 followed by a private reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque) in memory of Michael to the Kingston Humane Society or Queen's Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.<br /></div>
