Grace Van Niedek

Van Niedek, Grace (nee Huyser)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 20, 2015 in her 85th year. Grace leaves behind her husband of 62 years Bill, her children Rita Gainford (Richard), Case Van Niedek (Glenda), Pat Searles (Bill), Bob Van Niedek (Debbie) and Lorraine Keirstead (Mike). Predeceased by grandchildren Jeff and Ian Gainford and great grandchild Jacob Rozema. Fondly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A heartfelt thanks to the KGH Palliative Care team, Dr. Connidis, Dr. Kondor, Dr. Viola and Michelle in the office, St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the CCAC.
Friends will be received at the Robert J. Reid & Sons, "The Chapel on the Corner", 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 310 Kingscourt Avenue, on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at 11am. Interment following at Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the UHKF- Palliative Care Unit or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
