<div itemprop="description">OAKS, Eleanor Margaret Ann (n&eacute;e Trimble) &ndash; Died peacefully at Providence Manor in Kingston with a sister at her side on Tuesday April 21st, 2015 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard &lsquo;Dick&rsquo; Oaks. Also predeceased by her only child Bill Rivington, her sister Ursula (Clem) Brodeur, her nephew Karl Siemonsen and her step-daughter Catherine (William) Robinson. Survived by her other sisters Mary Cuthbert and Fran Siemonsen both of Kingston and by her second step-daughter Elinor (Jack) Sisson of Belleville. Also survived by her other nephews David Siemonsen, Mark (Petrina) Siemonsen and Peter (Cathy) Siemonsen; her nieces Chris Brodeur, Paula (Vicko) von Stedingk and Jane (Greg) Pusch; and by her step-grandchildren Susan (Stacey) Merritt, Anne (Martin) Blaser, Scott (Liz) Sisson, Carol (Jim) Wiggins, Chris (Lisa) Robinson and Bruce (Jean) Robinson. <br /> <br />The family will receive friends at Robert J. Reid &amp; Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie St.) on Monday April 27th, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral will be held at 12:00 noon in &ldquo;The Chapel on the Corner&rdquo;, followed immediately by a reception and then graveside service at Cataraqui Cemetery. Rather than sending flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the Kingston Diocese of the Salvation Army or your favourite charity. The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Manor who engaged so well with our feisty Eleanor &ndash; she enjoyed being treated like a queen!
