It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Christopher Lincoln Ward. He leaves behind his long time love and wife, Margot and his two beloved sons, Jack and Max. He is also survived by his father Carl (Margarete), his mother Jean & brothers Gregory & Geoffrey (Kathleen). He was born in Ottawa and grew up in Chesterville. He graduated from Queen’s University and then made his life in Kingston, Ontario. His greatest loves in life were his family, friends and music. He was passionate about many things from theatre and music, to sports and the planning of great adventures with his boys. He was a talented percussionist, and played with many bands including VK Fan Club, the Hellbillies, The Mahones, Soul Survivors, Pat Temple & the High Lonesome Players, and the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, just to name a few. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held in ST. MARY’S CATHEDRAL, 279 Johnson Street, on Monday, December 21st at 10:00 a.m. A private inurnment will take place at a later date and a further celebration of Chris’ life is being planned for January, date and location to be announced. Funeral arrangements are in care of ROBERT J. REID & SONS FUNERAL HOME – “The Chapel on the Corner” 309 Johnson Street. In memory of Chris, please consider a donation to the Joe Chithalen Memorial Musical Instrument Lending Library.
