<div itemprop="description">Minnes, Christine (Hood) <br> <br>Peacefully at St. Mary’s of the Lake, September 23rd, 2016 in her 92nd year. Dear daughter of the late Kate and William Hood. Beloved wife of James (deceased). Loved and loving mother of Jim and his wife Shelley of Kingston and Ted of Denver. Granny will be dearly missed by her adoring grandchildren, Kate and Jessie of Toronto, Andy (Sarah) of Kingston and Casey, Jake and Brock of Houston, Nashville and Toronto. She leaves her sister Jen McNeil. Chris greatly missed her sister Mary who passed away in 2005 and brother Donald who passed away in 2000. She had a very special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. Chris was a practicing medical records librarian at Kingston General Hospital for over thirty years. The family wishes to sincerely thank Gloria for her loving care, her many friends at the Waterside, and all those family and friends for their kindness and support. <br> <br>The family will receive friends ROBERT J. REID & SONS - The Chapel on the Corner, 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street) on Tuesday, October 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in "The Chapel on the Corner” on Wednesday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Chris’ memory to the Canadian Parkinson’s Society, St. Mary’s Palliative Care, or the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Clock Tower Fund.</div>
