Scott, Beverley Patricia

Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 after a courageous battle with illness at the age of 64. Beloved daughter of Esther Scott and the late Gerald Scott of Kingston. Dear sister of Brenda Sullivan (Randy) of Calgary, loving Aunt to Sabrina Sullivan (Brad Robertson) of Calgary and Jacqui Sullivan of Victoria. A special great aunt to Adeline Robertson. Fondly remembered by aunts, cousins, so many dear friends and special caregivers.

Born in Belleville, Ontario, she graduated from Moira Secondary School. Recipient of a BA (music) from Queens University and later a nursing diploma from St. Lawrence College, she then worked at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Although having to give up her profession due to health issues, she continued giving and caring for others through her sewing, knitting, music, cooking and church work. Bev worked on committees at St. Andrew’s church like her dad and always employed her generous heart to spoil others, including her friends, family and pet Yorkshire Terriers.

We would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful and caring nursing and PSW staff from Saint Elizabeth Health Care who were not only caregivers, but friends to Bev. Thank you also goes to Dr. Kain, Dr. Kondor and CCAC for their care and support of Bev in her decision to remain at home for her final days.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Kingston, on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., with Dr. Andrew Johnson officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. If wishing to make a donation, it may be made to either Saint Elizabeth Health Care or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in memory of Bev.
