PURSLOW, Bernard Raymond "Bern".
Suddenly but peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday
November 7, 2012 at the age of 91. Beloved and devoted husband of the late
Flora Naomi (nee: Hills). Amazing father of Diane Marantz( Gordon) of
Kingston and Janet Vanderkooy(Nick) of Calgary. Cherished grandpa of Kim
Sharyk (Chris) and Carrie Watts (Darryl) and great grandpa of Hailee, Taylor
and Paige Sharyk and Madeline and Jonah Watts. Also survived by his sister
Joan Parker of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his
brother Merton Purslow.
A Celebration of Bern's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 41
Church Street (Portsmouth Village) on Saturday November 10, 2012 at 2pm.
Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, on
Monday November 12, 2012 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
