<div itemprop="description">Lampropoulos: Athanasia <br /><br />Peacefully at St. Mary&rsquo;s of the Lake on Monday June 8, 2015 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of 52 years to Alexander. Cherished mother of Laura Lampropoulos-Morton and her husband James Morton and George Lambros and his wife Laura West. Loving grandmother of Patrick, Johnny, Sarah, and Kate. Survived by her brother Jim Pezoulas. She will be sadly missed by her nieces Christina Bolton, Barbara Huggins, Panagiota Stefanidys, Fotini Koutsaftakis, Efthalia Zaharopoulos, and Vagelitsa Xinnaris, her nephews Elias Stavropoulos, George Lampropoulos and Michael Pezoulas and their families.<br /><br />She began her work at CIBC when she was 18 years old as a bank teller and later became a personal banker. During that time, she became pen pals with Alex. He immigrated to Canada in 1962 to be married in Kingston where they would remain to raise their family. She was a former president of the Greek Community, and held various positions including treasurer. <br /><br />The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid and Sons Funeral Home 309 Johnson Street (at Barrie Street) on Sunday June 14, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. With Funeral Service on Monday at the Koimisis Tis Theotokou - Greek Orthodox Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the U.H.K.F. - Cancer Center, with appreciation from the family.<br /><br /><br /></div>
